Poznan
Poznań is one of the largest Polish cities. It is located on the Warta River in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. Poznań is a market and university city.
Fair in Poznań
The largest trade fair center here is the Poznań International Fair. At least one fair takes place here almost every week. However, there are usually several of them of different sizes and dimensions. Some of the most famous events in the world taking place in Poznań include:
- Pyrkon – festiwal fantastyki,
- Hobby,
- Poznań Game Arena.
Schools and universities
Poznań is full of students, so it’s probably no surprise that there are several universities here. The most famous include:
- Adam Mickiewicz University,
- Poznań University of Technology,
- University of Life Sciences,
- Medical University,
- University of Economics.
These are of course just examples and only of public universities. There are many private universities in the city.
Poznan tourism and leisure
The city of Poznań is often underestimated and undiscovered by many. City marketing is also a shambles and requires a lot of work. People find out about many events after the fact.
Nevertheless, there is almost always something going on somewhere, you just have to know how to look for it yourself. Many events take place in the area of the Old Town, but also in various districts / housing estates.
